One of the things I require is that ALL of my staff have planners. I always request proof. I need TO SEE IT! (see below) If you cannot produce a planner then 9 times out of 10 you are wasting time. If you are living life off of the fly you are wasting time. My reasoning is very simple. An organized life produces the best results.
