OUR MEANINGFUL MEETING

Last night we were reminded how important our voice is. God began speaking to me reminding me that the power of our voice has someones healing/breakthrough/answer attached to it. I may not be in that circle to be able to speak to my issue. But if someone in that circle has my issue  and speaks to it, that's my voice too. For so long we have sat and watched isolated circles that serve no purpose but to the community it serves. What about everyone else? Health is everyone's issue at some point in life. We have advocated for 'special groups', and groups whose only agenda is for itself. People have health issues, all people. Black and white. Free and incarcerated. No matter the race, age, sex, gender, or belief system, health is an American problem. For that matter is a human problem. I believe the highest form of service to mankind is solving issues for mankind. That means everyone not just a select few. Last night so many people had a voice as we met and begin to advise top health professionals and state government on policies that would help people. Not just a few people. But everyone. What good is your voice if you don't use it? Open up your mouth and use your power to advocate solutions for everyone. So a man thinks...
