"Fake support" is primarily defined as deceptive validation, superficial compliance, or manipulating God's Word to justify false personal agendas. The Bible explicitly identifies, condemns, and provides warnings against several specific forms of counterfeit backing.

James 2:8–9: Shows that favoritism and unfair social exclusion based on status, wealth, or prejudice are sin. "If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, 'Here’s a good seat for you,'... have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?" 

Doing what God commands instead of personal, other people, other groups, other opinions, or alternative paths is essential for obedience, alignment with divine wisdom, and avoiding the consequences of a sin of omission. GOD honors the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and WHY. It's HIS -STORY!

We intentionally keep tabs on those the Lord has assigned to us. We check up on them and be sure that they are okay until the next time we connect.  When we mentor we give homework. We have learned that scripture that can be applied to our life immediately helps with retention and adjusting to our new creation spirit! It's awesome to know that God has given this young lady sweet sleep. Remembering that she threw away lots of items that were connected to the occult. We praise God for her progress!
