APART VS CENTER

I was listening to a man tell his story about during his devotion time how God asked him a question. The question was, 'Am I APART of your life or the  CENTER of your life. The Lord began to explain the difference. When something is apart of something it can only touch the things that are around it. But when something is the CENTER of it, it touches everything. Everything goes through the CENTER of anything to get to any part of that thing. There is nothing left untouched. It all flows through the CENTER. God continued to explain that a lot of people think they have God at the center of their life when they are only just having Him apart. Going to church every week doesn't make God the center of your life, just a part of your week. Praying before you eat and go to bed doesn't make God the center of your life, it makes Him apart of your day. So what really makes God the center of our life? If God isn't your first response or your first choice then He is not the center of your life. So my question to you my friends is...'Does God get the first response with our families, our career, our dreams, our money, our businesses, or our relationships? If not, then He is not the center. Time to examine ourselves. It is now time to ask the question, 'Is God the center of my life or only apart of my life?'
