People often get mad at God because he gave them a word and although he's eternal, we are in time and that word is supposed to be brought forth in a certain that it can happen in the time and seasons of God.

What if Joseph refused to take Mary's hand in marriage at the right time? What if Moses, his mother never put him in the river to be found by the House of Pharaoh at the right time?  It's just like the birth of a baby, you can't hold that baby in longer than nine months. It has a time to become a seed and a time to be birthed out as a baby. There are four seasons in a year ...spring, summer, winter, and fall.

Don't think for one moment that Satan won't play on the fact that we are in the realm of time...and try to change times and seasons by saying...that you have plenty of time to fulfill God's word...that LIAR...he tells us that lie to change your outcomes and blessings...ANOTHER LIE HE TELLS US...we have plenty of time to be born again or plenty of time to accept Jesus in our lives ....that is an anti-Christ agenda using a seducing spirit. You do not have plenty of time. Check out this article and then wait for part two.

And I quote...

Prophetic words kept me stuck in toxic relationships.

I had to get it into my head that prophetic words are not inevitable. They are conditional.

They are an invitation into what is possible.

They require a response, a cooperation on our part for the word from God to have its way in our life. Remember, the word of God tested Joseph while he was in prison (Psalm 105:18-19).

But if we don’t respond or cooperate, then the word just goes flat. It expires.

Think about the dynamics at play when God gives a prophetic word that involves relationships, partnerships and team assignments.

You’re not only dealing with your own response now, but the response of all parties plays a part in the fulfillment of that prophecy.

You may have the perfect response, doing everything you can to partner with God in seeing the fulfillment of that word. But if the other parties involved do not respond properly, then that word is a no-go. This could involve a relationship with a potential mate, a business partner, a leader of a ministry, or a group of people.

If your destiny is connected to other people, and they do not respond properly, it is a no-go for you, even if you did all the right things.

This was a hard reality for me to swallow. But the truth is, with more people connected to the prophetic word, there are now that many more “free wills” that have to submit to it for it to come to pass.

How do you think Joshua and Caleb felt when they had a perfect response of faith of going into the Promised Land, but the negative attitude of the other 8 spies cost them another 40 more years of wandering in the wilderness? That was not the fault of Joshua and Caleb! But the sin of others around them caused their destinies to have to be divinely readjusted.

Although we don’t hear this taught much, these kinds of situations happen all the time. And it can feel so disorienting.

If you have a prophetic word about a destiny with another person or a group of people, and that person or group refuses to respond by faith or cooperate with God in seeing that word come to pass, then the fulfillment of that word is off the table. And to continue hoping for it only sets you up for a big disappointment, a hope deferred, which will make your heart sick (Proverbs 13:12).

On a positive note, God is not surprised when this happens. It is not over for you, even if you might feel like you have no idea what your future will look like. Out of God’s foreknowledge and His incredible love for you, He has already made provision for your future.

He knows your future fully well, even if He hasn’t revealed it to you. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11).

It’s time to move on with your life. Don’t stay stuck in a relationship or environment because you are holding on to the false hope of a prophetic word coming to pass when the expiry date has long passed. God is doing a new thing.
